2. Who we are and Purpose of this Site

Foodoppi.academy is an online LMS ( based in Moodle ) specifically created for the provision of continuing professional development (CPD) to primary school teachers in Ireland. It is a shared learning space where participants pay a fee to access and complete Department of Education and Skills approved online summer courses. During the course participants engage with online content, complete assignments and partake in online forums with other participants. The LMS tracks users time spent online engaging with the course and provides feedback on assignments thereby enabling the course provider to certify the participant for EPV days ( 3 EPV days for completion of one course and 4 EPV days for the completion of 2 courses ) Foodoppi.academy is linked to the site foodoppi.com and is ran by Foodoppi ( trading as LarkinLennox ltd).

3. Use and Obligations

Participants who undertake an online summer course must enrol using their full name as per their teaching council registration. Each user will be provided with a username and password. Other information collected is address, email address, mobile phone number and name of school. It is essential to use your full name on enrolment as this is the name used to identify the teacher to the Department of Education and Skills in order to validate their EPV days. These programmes are specifically designed for teachers with a teaching council registration number. All users are expected to meaningfully partake in all aspects of the online and offline learning experience. Participants are also expected to honestly account for time spent on all course related activities and any attempts to undermine the genuine accounting of time spent is a breach of these Terms of Service.

If this is not possible, please request unenrolment at any stage at communications@foodoppi.com. No refunds can be provided up to 7 days prior to commencing of course or once the user has begun the course.

Participants must ensure that the work completed in their name is original, unpublished work completed by them and not previously submitted as an assignment. Plagiarism will not be tolerated Impersonation is a breach of these Terms of Service. Account usernames and passwords for access to courses/resources are personal to you and must not be shared.

We insist that, in using the service, you abide by the rules, policies and codes of conduct detailed herein.
